I walk the path with you as you get ready for this major change in your life and identity, asking you the questions to find what’s the best path for YOU. Without dogma, “should's" or fear. 
In 2001 after the arrival of my first baby, I began my work with birthing families. At the time I didn’t even know what a “Doula” was! I just fell in love with this amazing and surreal transition, hopping on board for friends and family every chance I got! I also spent several years volunteering as a Leader with La Leche League. Fast forward to the present day and I can joyfully say I have made this my official career, conquering various trainings for birth & postpartum support and continually adding more as I go!

Whether this is your first or fifth baby, multiples/high risk, home or hospital, I will be right by your side to support, provide evidence based information and back you up! This is YOUR birth, not mine or anyone else’s! If a support that feels like a best friend, comforts like a mother figure and empowers like a fire force is what you’re looking for…I am your Doula!
After your birth when you are adjusting to your new family and navigating all the feels that come along with it, Il’l be there for you. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to work with so many different families with vastly different approaches and goals for their postpartum time. I believe that each family is innately wired to know exactly what they need, I truly am there to help them find themselves in that journey! I love to putter around in kitchens, preparing nutritious and yummy meals for my clients, offering evidence based education and referring to community supports if needed. 

When I'm not out with my Doula Families:

-I am busy with my 3 teenagers Phoebe, Jacobe & Antonio
-walking my fur baby on the local trails, or swaddling her in blankets!
-baking and cooking, tweaking my recipes for my clients!
-taking drives and exploring roads less travelled
-joining in all of the amazing learning and friendship opportunities with our local Doula groups
-travelling the world, one step at a time!
